It is absolutely essential that companies, recruiters, staffing agencies integrate the internet as part of their employee recruitment process.. Gone are the old days of posting jobs in the classified section of the local newspaper. . We discuss some popular and free services which we reviewed. .
www.epostjobs.com
ePostJobs is a newer website with a very easy user interface and Web 2.0 features. ePostjobs.com is at the forefront of all free job sites and we explain why. It has a large pool of job seekers, few advertisements are shown, and an unlimited number of postings allowed. The job postings are synced to all the popular job search sites such as SimplyHired, TwitterJobSearch, Business Week, Google Base, Job-Search-Engine, Trovit, Oodle, and many more bringing large applicant traffic to your postings. This is the one free job website containing all the features you will ever need.
www.craigslist.org
Who doesn't know CraigsList?. This is another nice service that delivers candidates regularily. The catch is that its not exactly free, Craigslist charges for posting under certain cities. Craigslist certainly would not be classified as a Web 2.0 site as the features are limited to posting a job and receiving applicants via email. They do not syndicate postings to the major search engines but the amount of traffic CraigsList draws compensates for this. The pain point are users that flag legitimate postings which results in the removal of the ad.
JobvertiseJobvertise is one of the oldest free job sites on the internet. The interface isn't user friendly, the look of the site hasn't changed much since its launch in 1998. It does a decent job delivering relevant candidates. Overall, Jobvertise has the essentials, but many other sites have more practical features for employers and job seekers
PostJobFree
Postjobfree.com is service that does a good job delivering candidates. Its listings are synced with Indeed, Juju, and Oodle. .
Jobbi
. It has a couple of features which are non-existent on other sites including screening applicants by means of personality tests and their applicant screening system. The verdict on this site is that it would be a better site if it was less confusing and more user intuitive.
