It is absolutely important that employers, recruiters, staffing agencies utilize the internet as part of their employee recruitment process.. Gone are the old days of advertising jobs in the classified section of the local paper. The internet is an approach that is much more efficient and serves a much larger candidate pool to choose from. . .

1. ePostJobs.com

ePostJobs is a newer service with a very simple user interface and Web 2.0 features. ePostjobs.com is the leader of all free job sites and we explain why. It has a big amount of applicants, few ads are displayed, and an unlimited amount of postings allowed. The job postings are synced to all the large job search sites such as SimplyHired, Twitter Job Search, Business Week, Google Base, Juju, Trovit, Oodle, and many more resulting in large applicant traffic to your ads. This is the single free job website with all the features you will ever need.

www.craigslist.org

Who does not know CraigsList?. This is another nice service that delivers candidates consistently. It is not entirely free, for posting to larger cities the price tag is either $75 or $25 depending on the city. Posting jobs to smaller cities is free. . They do not syndicate postings to the major search engines but the amount of traffic CraigsList draws compensates for this. The pain point are users that flag legitimate postings which results in the removal of the ad.

Jobvertise

Jobvertise is one of the oldest free job sites on the internet. The interface isn't user friendly, the look of the site hasn't changed much since its launch in 1998. . The basic miniaml functions are there but they are not comparable to other free job sites.

PostJobFree

PostJobFree is website that does a good job delivering candidates. It does a decent job submitting to the job search engines. Some of the disadvantages of this site include the limitation on the number of jobs that you may submit per day and the of advertisements on all the pages.

Jobbi

Here is another service with a lacking user interface. It has a couple of features which are non-existent on other websites including filtering by personality tests and their applicant screening system. There is room for improvement but not a bad site from a functional point.
